A lovely British postcard, printed in Germany. Printing techniques and card designs at that time were superior in Germany.  The printing press was invented there and subsequently the industry had already developed.

In very good condition, slight stubbing to corners. Slight discolouration.

An interesting and intriguing postcard. The series 5777 stamp is overwritten by the message so not to sure of the details, but it’s clear that the postcard is part of a Raphael Tuck series about Kings and Queens.

Under the portrait there is a quotation ´Clear are Her Eyes Like Purest Skies’ so maybe Raphael Tuck is using this text by poet Robert Herrick to enhance a portrait of Elizabeth I.

These two plates are without chips or cracks but they do have circular crazing to the glaze in the beige background at minimal sight...

Dionysos was the Greek God of wine and wine making, the design features cherubs in large grape barrels.

It is footed and has subtle scalloped edges on both cup and saucer.

It is marked by the winged crown symbol and with words Tuscan Fine English Bone China Made in England and was used from 1947 to 1966. It has the number C9266 on the base

Nice pink glass pedestal dish made by Fenton in the 60s.
The dish has crimped ruffled edges and the bowl has elongated thumbprint design.
The stem is panelled and twisted on this one.
These dishes look nice as votives for battery operated candles.
Nice one to use to store candy, trinkets, or jewelry.
It is unmarked Fenton and Fenton did not start marking their glassware until the 70s.
