Fishel Nessler Art Deco Necklace, Joan of Arc Coat of Arms

This company was first founded on 5th Avenue in 1885 and jewelry created during the early period is stamped F.N. CO, later jewelry includes their logo of a fish.  The company ceased operations in 1937, but interestingly Trifari started up in 1925 with Trifari, Krussman and Fishel.  We do not know if the 2nd generation Carl Fishel is a descendant, but it is a remarkable coincident if not.

The theme of Joan of Arc is very popular.  She has been immortalised for her devotion and faith in the King of France, and we are all deeply saddened by her horrific death.

The quality of this piece is self-evident.  It has stood the test of time thanks to robust material and quality craftsmanship.

  1. That is so interesting, the connection between Trifari and Fishel Nessler. I learned something today. What a beautiful example, too!
